Keep Your Subscribers Happy Through Emailing It is always a good idea to send your subscribers newsletters or new product catalogues. That way you can keep them accessing your web site searching for fresh information and increase the sales on your products. Do not make though rookie mistakes that can clear up your opt-in list.
Do not choose the wrong way: spamming and unwanted e-mails in order to promote your business! There are in present many laws and regulations that protect the Internet users. It is though the one of the most popular marketing methods and fills every day millions of e-mail accounts with promotional and advertising mails. If you will adopt the clean way to e-mail your list you will be respected as a legitimate businessperson, and your web site will be known as a legitimate business.
An essential thing is to organize your opt-in list. Make it clean and easy to manage, you can use many tools and programs for that. A good organization will eventually lead to sales first, then to profit. You can easily take notice that way of unsuccessful send-ings. Those are called bounced e-mail and may occur from many reasons, such as a full inbox, an invalid e-mail address, a misspelled one or one that is no longer active. It would be a more accurate list if you erase them. You should also check the spellings on the “com.”, because it is a common mistake the replacement of the “m” with an “n”.
The subscribers should have the choice to unsubscribe from your opt-in list, so the un-subscribing feature and link are necessary on your site. Take in consideration their desire to un-subscribe or you can be reported as a spammer, and you do not want this because the Internet services might remove you from their service and the rest of your subscribers might leave you as well.
The last thing, but not the less important, is NOT to send pornographic or disturbing content in the newsletter. You do not know who will receive them at the other end.
Just be honest to your subscribers and respect your subscribers, because there is a saying: “Our customer, our master”. If you respect them by sending what they choose to receive and what they want to find out, you will keep your business successful. |
